How good does it movie look?? Seriously! Despite the weather it is still officially running season and I for one am pumped! This movie is coming out at the perfect time, it will gives us all a little extra motivation (seriously – check out these girls bodies!) and will get us all a little extra excited for the Olympics this summer.
Lucky for you, Frame Camp is here to work on those running skills and we have just launched our famous Run Club again and it’s sure to whip you into shape for the summer and work your cardiovascular system and your endurance so much so that you’ll be able to star in your own running movie.
Set to be the feel-good movie of the summer, FAST GIRLS will burst out of the blocks and into UK cinemas on 15 June. Written by and co-starring NOEL CLARKE (Kidulthood), FAST GIRLS tracks the rollercoaster journey of a British female sprint relay team and stars a trio of Britain’s hottest young stars: LENORA CRICHLOW (Being Human), LILY JAMES (Wrath of the Titans) and BRADLEY JAMES (Merlin).
Cameo appearances include star athletes JONATHAN EDWARDS, IWAN THOMAS and COLIN JACKSON, and the actors’ coaching team is headed up by 100m sprint champion JEANETTE KWAKYE and relay star SHANI ANDERSON. The powerful soundtrack includes music from EXAMPLE, LABRINTH, EMELI SANDE, EJ and MADEON.
When sassy streetwise Shania (Lenora Crichlow) meets ambitious, middle class Lisa (Lily James), their two worlds collide on the athletics track with explosive results. As the FAST GIRLS strive to qualify for a major world athletics championship, they battle adversity and rivalry on their dramatic, heartwarming and inspirational journey.
Thanks to STUDIOCANAL, we’re offering you the chance to win two tickets to an exclusive screening on Wednesday 13 June, 6.30 for 7pm start at CFC Framestore in London, Soho, proceeded by a Q and A with the cast members. Other prizes will also be available on the night.
