Nicola and Joan will give you the low down on what weight training is all about, and how it specifically can be of massive benefit to women. They’ll explain the difference of fat v’s muscle, the benefits of building lean muscle for weight loss, and why weight training boosts your metabolism not only after lifting weights but in the longer term too.

The session will go into why the average women can’t bulk up through weight training and will discuss ways to incorporate strength work into your workout programme.

Nicola is the owner of Eqvvs Training, a high end personal training studio in Knightsbridge. Clients include Elle Macpherson, Daisy Lowe, Jade Parfitt among others.
